THE SHAZAM STAGE BATTLE

ShazamFest, in collaboration with Le Murdoch and Hop Station Microbrewery, proudly presents the electrifying 9th Stage Battle!

Get ready to experience two unforgettable evenings on March 8 and 15, 2025, where the rising stars of the Eastern Townships will compete to amaze audiences and judges alike. Brace yourself for an artistic showdown like no other, celebrating ShazamFest's 20th anniversary in style.

Call for Emerging Artists!

Are you a musician, dancer, circus performer, poet, or burlesque artist? The Shazam Stage Battle is on the hunt for talent across all performing arts disciplines!

Participation Details:

• Event Dates: March 8, 2025, at Le Murdoch (Sherbrooke) and March 15, 2025, at Hop Station Microbrewery (Coaticook).

• Performance Length: 10 to 35 minutes, depending on your artistic discipline.

• Registration: Open until February 14, 2025. Finalists will be announced on February 17, 2025.

 

​Participation Requirements:

• Registration fee: $25

• No minimum age.

• Submit a visual or audio sample of your performance.

• Provide a short biography and a photo.

• Be available on March 8 or 15, 2025.

Available Equipment:

• Basic drum set.

• Guitar and bass amps.

• On-site sound technician.

Prizes:

For each evening:

• 1st Place:

  • $150 (on the night).

  • A $600 contract to perform at ShazamFest 2025 (15 to 60 minutes, depending on discipline).

  • One free ShazamFest 2025 passport per group member (valued at $175 each).

• 2nd Place:

  • $50 (on the night).

  • Two ShazamFest 2025 passports per group member.

• 3rd Place:

  • One ShazamFest 2025 passport per group member.

All contracts will be honored at ShazamFest, running from July 10 to 13, 2025.
